How to Lose Weight Fast – The 4-Hour Body – Ice Bath Review
Timothy Ferriss released an incredibly popular book and #1 New York Times Bestseller The 4-Hour Workweek. In his book he explains how the work that most individuals accomplish in a 40 hour workweek, could really be accomplished in just 4 hours when utilizing a variety of ingenious methods such as outsourcing and otherwise maximizing the results of your efforts.
In his new book The 4-Hour Body, Timothy Ferriss takes a similar approach to physical performance in an effort to determine the “minimum effective dose,” (MED) which reveals the least amount, but perhaps the most effective, of efforts that can be made to get the desired result. The book covers many physical goals including, weight-loss, mass-gains, strength-gains, and sexual performance to name a few.
In a section titled “Ice Age,” the powerful effects of thermodynamics are discussed which describes the use of cold packs, cold showers, and ice baths. I decided to give it a try, and I captured my experience on video.
You’ll notice I do not advise that you attempt the ice bath, however I must say that I actually do enjoy them and I feel fantastic afterward.
I recommend a different approach, but this was still fun, and hopefully entertaining for you to watch. Enjoy!
Notice the excitement on my face!
